The Academic Year is based on the CBSE guidelines and is w.e.f. from April to March. The school year consists of two semesters: Semester I : April to September Semester 2 : October to March.
Yes, we are a Co educational school.
The proposed teacher student ratio is 1:20 in the primary, and 1:30 in other classes.
Admission is open from Kindergarden to XII Std.
Application forms can be picked up from school campus, filled in application forms with registration fees and photocopy of the report card of the previous grade to be submitted for the registration.
ROCKFORD School hires qualified teachers with good communicative skills. Every teacher undergoes an additional training on strategies of classroom teaching and technology training to be able to use the smart boards and computers as tool to effective teaching and Pedagogy training to keep them abreast with the latest in the field of education.
PTM’s are a great time to meet a Students Class Teacher. Daily reports sent by each Class Teacher also help Parents keep up with what's happening in school.
For urgent matters- they can SMS or Call the reception
For appointments, they can contact the teachers via SMS/ Emails to fix the scheduled Date and Time.
Parents are our partners and we appreciate suggestions, inputs and their cooperation in ensuring the success of various school activities /events. They have an important role to play for the success of any system . Further, they can help by enthusiastically encouraging the quest for knowledge when their children seek information, material or guidance for their projects.
We believe in maintaining a transparent system and hence all communication related to financials are been intimated to parents to take an informed decision. During the course of the year however, if there is an event or activity that we feel is beneficial for the students to participate in, parents are intimated via a circular and subsequent consent is taken prior to any charges being levied.
