1. What is the philosophy that guides ROCKFORD School?

The philosophy that guides ROCKFORD School is “Provide Child Centric approach to explore interests and ambitions of every child and encourage to accomplish them”.

2. Which educational body is ROCKFORD affiliated to?

The school is affiliated to the CBSE, English is the medium of instruction.

3. What is the Academic Year of the School?

The Academic Year is based on the CBSE guidelines and is w.e.f. from April to March. The school year consists of two semesters: Semester I : April to September Semester 2 : October to March.

4. Is your School a Co educational School?

Yes, we are a Co educational school.

5. What is the Student Teacher ratio?

The proposed teacher student ratio is 1:20 in the primary, and 1:30 in other classes.

6. Which are the grades for which admission can be sought?

Admission is open from Kindergarden to XII Std.

7. How can I register my ward’s name for admission?

Application forms can be picked up from school campus, filled in application forms with registration fees and photocopy of the report card of the previous grade to be submitted for the registration.

8. What are the documents required for admission?

The Application Form : Filled in Application for admission
Recent photographs : 2 copies of colour passport size photographs
Registration fee : _________________________
School Reports : Photocopies of the previous year and current year report card.
Transfer Certificate : Transfer Certificate to be submitted for all grades. For Grade X, XI and XII admissions, Transfer Certificate to be countersigned by the concerned authority of the educational board.
Conduct Certificate : These should be addressed to the Principal recommended by the previous school authorities.
For Grade X Admission, Grade IX CBSE registration card to be submitted.

9. How do you ensure the quality of the faculty of the school?

ROCKFORD School hires qualified teachers with good communicative skills. Every teacher undergoes an additional training on strategies of classroom teaching and technology training to be able to use the smart boards and computers as tool to effective teaching and Pedagogy training to keep them abreast with the latest in the field of education.

10. How can a Parent reach the Teachers?

PTM’s are a great time to meet a Students Class Teacher. Daily reports sent by each Class Teacher also help Parents keep up with what's happening in school.

For urgent matters- they can SMS or Call the reception

For appointments, they can contact the teachers via SMS/ Emails to fix the scheduled Date and Time.

11. Do parents have a role at ROCKFORD?

Parents are our partners and we appreciate suggestions, inputs and their cooperation in ensuring the success of various school activities /events. They have an important role to play for the success of any system . Further, they can help by enthusiastically encouraging the quest for knowledge when their children seek information, material or guidance for their projects.

12. Any other hidden charges other than the ones' mentioned in the fee structures?

We believe in maintaining a transparent system and hence all communication related to financials are been intimated to parents to take an informed decision. During the course of the year however, if there is an event or activity that we feel is beneficial for the students to participate in, parents are intimated via a circular and subsequent consent is taken prior to any charges being levied.
