On June 5th, our school celebrated Environment Day with enthusiasm and a strong commitment to raising environmental awareness. The event featured two major competitions: poster making and essay writing, both aimed at encouraging students to think creatively about environmental issues.
In the *poster making competition*, students showcased their artistic talents with posters depicting themes such as tree conservation, pollution reduction, water conservation, and wildlife protection. The creativity and vibrant colors used by the participants highlighted their deep concern for environmental issues.
In the *essay competition*, participants wrote insightful essays on various environmental topics, emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices and individual responsibility in protecting our planet. The essays were thought-provoking and demonstrated the students' understanding of complex environmental challenges.
The enthusiasm displayed by the students was remarkable, with many participating eagerly in both competitions. A few outstanding entries from each competition were shortlisted for special recognition. These exceptional students were be acknowledged on the first day of the new school term, with their work displayed in the school hall to inspire others. Certificates of appreciation were be awarded to these young environmental advocates, celebrating their dedication and creativity.
The Environment Day celebrations was a testament to our students' passion for environmental conservation and their willingness to contribute positively to the planet.
